JMEC is moving its offices to its new HQ starting the end of the workday on Wednesday, October 13.
The cooperative will be closed to all and our communications will be down for the duration of the move, which is anticipated to continue Thursday and Friday, October 14 and 15 and through the weekend.
If a member experiences an outage during this period, please call (505) 753-0128 at least through October 15. Normal communications may be restored by the weekend.

The new building replaces the current facility built in 1961. An analysis determined that extensive renovations would be required for the 50-year-old structure to become ADA compliant, address HVAC and septic failures, remediate lead and asbestos contamination and meet use requirements. The new facility was budgeted and paid for out of the reserve cash the cooperative had at the time the project was conceived. It is debt free and its development had zero impact on our members’ cost of service.
