Report An Outage

OUTAGE HOTLINE 1-877-753-0095

REPORT IT 24 HOURS A DAY! Automated OMS (Outage Management System) will track everyone that is out to make sure everyone has power restored.

You can report and track the outage three ways:

  • Online Customer Portal https://billing.jemezcoop.org/oscp/

  • JMEC Mobile App

We are committed to providing you with the most reliable electric service possible. Events that are out of our control sometimes occur. Car accidents. Lightning. High winds. Storms. Whatever the cause, when an outage occurs, we do our best to restore power as quickly as possible. Highly trained linemen and dispatchers are on call 24 hours a day ready to respond.

How can you help? Report the outage using our Outage Management System using 1-877-753-0095, online customer portal or mobile app. Our Outage Management System is designed to handle a large volume of calls that occur during a major outage to a single person outage. By reporting your outage it can be quickly evaluated. The system will even tell you if you are an isolated occurrence or part of a larger outage. Was there a loud crash or sparking? Did you see a pole down or broken? Report it! This information will help get crews to the cause of the outage right away. When calling in you can leave a message about it or on the portal or app there is a comment section. With your help working with our Outage Management System we can reduce the outage time and get everything back up and running!

Please make sure that we have your correct phone number on your electric account. You will also receive updates during extended outages and advance notifications for planned outages. Once power is restored the Outage Management System also calls you back. This will keep you informed but more importantly it will identify anyone left without power that needs to be restored before the crews go home.

Did you know there is an OUTAGE MAP at the top of this page? It is also located in the mobile app; look for it in the menu on the right. This map shows the outage location, number meters that are out of power, estimated time of restoration and other details. Zoom in to see the neighborhood affected. Don’t forget you can follow us on Facebook and see updates there too.

So, when experiencing a power outage CALL or CLICK to report it.
